In addition to its permanent archeology collection, temporary exhibitions and education programs, the Erimtan Archeology and Arts Museum also hosts a series of music concerts spanning a wide range of genres. Concerts of classical chamber music and jazz, as well as outdoor programs and those designed for children meet music-loving audiences in the 170-seat concert hall and the outdoor terrace. The programs are designed by taking into consideration factors such as the museum infrastructure, the appropriateness of the chosen artist and the music genre for the museum space at hand, as well as maintaining a good balance between featuring young talent and more experienced artists, and recital programs alongside first performances.

Music at the Museum Mini
Since 2020, Erimtan Museum has been offering interpretive classical chamber music concerts at the museum for children ages 4+ for the first time in Turkey. Led by Creative Director Emel Özer and written by Gülümden Karaman, the series’ first piece “What Kind of Mozart Is This!” told the story of legendary composer Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s life through the character “Wolfie” played by actor Gökhan Kutum and the musical performance by the Amadeus Mini Ensemble. The series will continue with a second iteration called “Oopsie, Beethoven!” The Music at the Museum - MINI series is offered with the purpose of introducing classical music and composers to a young audience.
