In this project, one day in November every year, children take over museums. Children work as tour guides, box office attendees, shopkeepers, social media managers and educators in museums. They get novel experiences by working as museum professionals.  With the help of “Kids in Museums” organization in the UK, since 2010, 40,000 children participated in the event. This special event was also held in our museums in Turkey for the first time on 22 November 2018. Participants were selected from letters of intent written to the museums. 14 children were selected from nearly 100 applicants, who spent the whole day doing the work of a museum professional. At the end of the day, feedbacks from the children who were given participation certificates stated that "they want to be museum workers in the future and they will visit museums more often".
